Delete your MyGredient account.

Use this page to request deletion of your MyGredient Android app account and associated personal data. MyGredient is operated by Mutelligence LTD.

How to delete your account

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line Delete MyGredient account.
  2. Send the request from the email address used for your MyGredient account, where possible.
  3. Include the email address or user ID connected to the account you want deleted.
  4. We will verify the request and process account deletion within 30 days, unless we need extra information from you.

Data deleted

After verification, we delete or anonymise personal data associated with your MyGredient app account, including:

  • account profile details, such as your email address and account identifiers
  • saved diet, allergy, lifestyle, belief and preference settings
  • custom ingredient rules, scan references and personal avoid lists
  • scan history and product checks connected to your account
  • uploaded product, barcode or ingredient-label images linked to your account, where stored

Data kept

Some records may be kept only where necessary for legal, security, accounting or dispute-resolution reasons:

  • transaction, invoice or subscription records required for tax and accounting may be retained for up to 7 years
  • fraud prevention, security logs and abuse-prevention records may be retained for up to 24 months
  • support emails about your deletion request may be retained for up to 24 months so we can evidence the request and response
  • records managed by Google Play, such as app purchases or subscriptions, must be managed through your Google account or Google Play subscription settings

What happens next

Once your account is deleted, you may lose access to saved preferences, scan history, custom rules and other personalised app features. Deletion does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To stop future billing, cancel the subscription in Google Play.
